Best yoga retreat ever! The last week in February I spent an amazing time with new friends from Chicago, Los Angeles, Uruguay and Argentina. Both our yoga instructors Andrea and Beth fostered a supportive environment that radiated positivity, incredible vibes and lasting memories. The meals at the Maya Tulum Resort were prepared with the freshest ingredients and attentive servers. And enough time was allowed between the morning and afternoon yoga practices to hit the beach, hangout by the pool bar, schedule a beach message, plan an excursion to the ruins and/or even go scuba diving. The highlight of the week were the afternoon yoga workshops in which I learned how to do a flawless plank to cobra to downward facing dog sequence and there was also a back bending workshop… I am now more confident with my poses after this retreat. Lastly, the Tulum weather was so perfect at the end of February (no humidity) and I am definitely going back in 2025.
